For UK immigration solicitors

Every client,
in their language.
Every record, in yours.

Noor is the practice OS for immigration firms whose clients don't speak English. WhatsApp in Urdu, Bengali, Farsi or Arabic comes in — translated, transcribed, filed, and audit-sealed — before you've had your first coffee.

Immigration law is practiced in English. Clients aren't.

A typical UK immigration caseworker juggles WhatsApp threads in four languages, voice notes at 3am, passport photos out of sequence, and a 28-day tribunal clock. Existing practice software assumes everyone speaks English and all documents arrive as neatly-labelled PDFs. Neither is true.

01

WhatsApp is the record

Over 80% of client contact happens on WhatsApp, in the client's first language. None of it flows into your case management system. If the SRA asks, you're screenshotting.

02

Translation is the bottleneck

Outsourcing every voice note to a human translator costs £0.12/word and takes 24 hours. For a tribunal deadline, that's the case.

03

Audit trails are theoretical

When a refusal is appealed or a complaint filed, proving the chain of evidence from a WhatsApp voice note to a tribunal bundle is a weekend's work. Noor makes it a click.

Same client. Same overnight messages.
One of them is ready for chambers.

Left: the raw WhatsApp thread a caseworker wakes up to. Right: what the same thread looks like once Noor has translated, transcribed, hashed, and filed it.

The compliance posture your partners will approve.

Immigration law is regulated by the SRA and the IAA. AI in legal work is scrutinised by both. Noor is built for that scrutiny — not around it.

UK data residency

All client data — messages, documents, transcripts — is stored and processed in AWS eu-west-2 (London). Never routed outside the UK.

SRA & IAA aligned

Retention defaults to the SRA's seven-year standard. Audit logs are immutable. Every exported bundle carries your firm's SRA and IAA numbers.

A client in Sylhet can reach us at 3am in Bengali. By the time we're in chambers, every word has been translated, every document sorted, and the urgent items are at the top. It's the single most important thing we've added to the firm in fifteen years.

Which languages does Noor support?
23 languages today, with Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, Farsi (Dari), Arabic, Pashto, Somali, Tigrinya, Kurdish Sorani, Amharic, Tamil and Vietnamese being the most used across UK immigration practice. We add languages on request — typically within two weeks.
Is AI translation reliable enough for legal work?
Noor always preserves the original-language text alongside the English, and every translation carries a confidence score. Low-confidence passages are flagged for caseworker review before they're entered into a bundle. For tribunal-submitted evidence, human-reviewed translation is still the norm — Noor's role is to make that review fast and cheap, not to replace it.
How do you handle WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption?
Noor connects via the official WhatsApp Business API — the same route used by HSBC, Deliveroo, and the NHS. Messages arrive through Meta's Business channel into your UK-hosted Noor tenant, with a signed data-processing agreement for the relay hop.
What happens if a client sends something in a language you don't support?
Noor detects the language on arrival. Unsupported languages are held, flagged to the caseworker, and routed to a human translation partner with a one-click request. You pay per-word only for the exceptions.
Does Noor also work for English-speaking clients?
Yes. When a matter's client language is English, Noor skips translation (no AI cost) and renders a single-panel thread instead of the side-by-side pair. Everything else still runs — document OCR, audit bundles, the morning digest, reply suggestions, the entity timeline, deadlines. Use Noor for your English caseload too and get the whole workflow without the translation premium.
Can I export everything if I leave?
Yes — at any time, for any reason. A full export contains every message, document, translation, audit log, and hash, in both JSON and PDF. No vendor lock-in and no exit fee.

Your next case starts tonight,
in a language you don't speak.

Be ready for it by 07:00.
